One of my little sisters favorite is snowball cookies. It is a basic butter cookie tossed in powder sugar. So simple and keeps her happy

¼ teaspoon salt
Cream butter, vanilla and sugar together.
In a separate bowl combine flour and salt. Blend this into butter mixture.
