Another Banana Bread

Hey Guys! Sorry for the little break in posting. It has been a long time since I last wrote a post, but i have been preoccupied with finishing my final year of university. When you get home, what’s the first thing you do? Mine is without a doubt going straight in the kitchen and see what craziness I can cook and bake while I am home.

Moist and delicious classic banana bread recipe is the way to start the baking off. Easy to make, no need for a mixer and the ingredients are so basic, I had everything I needed on hand. Great way to use up those brown mushy bananas.


  • IMG_20150524_1805193 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or as much as you desire)


  1. Pre heat oven to 350
  2. Mash up the bananas
  3. Add the melted butter
  4. Then mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla
  5. Add the baking soda, chocolate chips and salt and mix
  6. Add the flour last, bake in a preheated oven for one hour and you’re done
